The Community Care Northumberland Hospice Care Centre was one of Dalren’s most rewarding projects to date due to the importance of this project to the community. Working closely with Community Care Northumberland and BBA Architects, the Dalren team worked through many challenges, including an extremely wet year, Covid-19 work restrictions and supply issues, and still managed to bring the project to completion on time and in budget. The building, which is lovingly called “Ed’s House” in recognition of a principal donor, boasts many modern touches and creates a warm feeling of home for residences. All staff and management at Dalren are very proud of the part we played in bringing this important resource to our community.

Algonquin Highlands Public Works Facility
Dalren constructed a 12,000sqft, pre-engineered Robertson building for the Public Works department for the Township of Algonquin Highlands located on North Shore Road in Algonquin Highlands. Working on a large empty lot, construction took just over a year to complete.

Murray Centennial Public School Addition
Dalren began construction of a large addition to Murray Centennial Public School in late fall 2024. This single storey addition blends seamlessly into the existing school, helping to expand the learning space for students. Existing classrooms were freshened up to match the new addition along with new landscaping and play structures for the students.

Elgin Park Redevelopment
Elgin Park Redevelopment was part of a multi-phased project to create low income housing in Cobourg, ON. Construction began with the demolition of 9 semi-detached homes to create space for four new multi-storey apartment buildings/townhouses with a mix of one and two bedroom units along with accessible units.

Presqu’ile Park – Admin Building
This 2 story, multi-use building will be a first of its kind for the Provincial Parks system. It will house a modern check in facility, Park Staff offices and meeting rooms as well as function as a regional training center. This modern building was built over the footprint of an older 1970’s era building that burnt down a number of years ago.

Uxbridge Medical Centre
Construction of a 2 story, 36,000 SF Medical Arts Building in Uxbridge, ON. On the grounds of the Markham-Stouffville Hospital, this building houses an on-site laboratory, diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, dentistry, pharmacy and select ambulatory services as well as 10,000 SF of integrated family health team. The facility also includes a café and a communal lobby for staff and patients to enjoy.

Continuing our historical excellence at quick serve restaurant projects, Dalren was excited to be part of the new build Chick-Fil-A restaurant on Davis Drive in Newmarket, ON. This 5000 SF modern design restaurant was started in April 2024 and opened for business in late November 2024.
