The Community Care Northumberland Hospice Care Centre was one of Dalren’s most rewarding projects to date due to the importance of this project to the community. Working closely with Community Care Northumberland and BBA Architects, the Dalren team worked through many challenges, including an extremely wet year, Covid-19 work restrictions and supply issues, and still managed to bring the project to completion on time and in budget. The building, which is lovingly called “Ed’s House” in recognition of a principal donor, boasts many modern touches and creates a warm feeling of home for residences. All staff and management at Dalren are very proud of the part we played in bringing this important resource to our community.

CCN Hospice – Ed’s House

The Community Care Northumberland Hospice Care Centre was one of Dalren’s most rewarding projects to date due to the importance of this project to the community. Dancing Bee Warehouse

Dalren constructed a 10,000sqft, pre-engineered Robertson storage warehouse building for Dancing Bee on the grounds of the old Welcome Produce building on Toronto Road north of the 401 in Port Hope, ON. This building will serve as an international distribution and warehouse hub for Dancing Bee’s, bee keeping supply business.

Ganaraska Brewing Company

Dalren began construction of a Micro-Brewery for Ganaraska Brewing Company in Port Hope, ON. This exciting new addition to downtown Port Hope will boast indoor and outdoor ground floor patio space as well as a roof top patio with one of the best views in all of Port Hope. This wood frame building will boast open viewing of the brewing area from both inside and out as well as a very modern and sleek design. Local architect, Reno Piccini, worked hard to blend this building smartly into its surroundings.

Ganaraska Brewing Company

Dalren began construction of a Micro-Brewery for Ganaraska Brewing Company in Port Hope, ON. Havelock Seniors Apartment and Community Center

Havelock Seniors Apartment and community center located in the village of Havelock will fill a very definite need for this community. Construction of this wood frame building began for the Peterborough Regional Housing Committee and will include 24 one-bedroom apartments located on a 2 story wing, community areas as well as a commercial retail and tenant area.

Presqu’ile Park – Admin Building

This 2 story, multi-use building will be a first of its kind for the Provincial Parks system. It will house a modern check in facility, Park Staff offices and meeting rooms as well as function as a regional training center. This modern building was built over the footprint of an older 1970’s era building that burnt down a number of years ago.

Uxbridge Medical Centre

Construction of a 2 story, 36,000 SF Medical Arts Building in Uxbridge, ON began in late fall 2019 and is scheduled for completion in summer of 2021. On the grounds of the Markham-Stouffville Hospital, this building will house an on-site laboratory, diagnostic imaging, physiotherapy, dentistry, pharmacy and select ambulatory services as well as 10,000 SF of integrated family health team. A café and a communal lobby for staff and patients to enjoy are also planned for the facility.

Uxbridge Medical Centre

Continuing our historical excellence at quick serve restaurant projects, Dalren was excited to be part of the New Wendy’s Canada Restaurant on Sidney Street in Belleville, ON. This 2400 SF modern design restaurant was started in September 2020 and opened for business in mid-December 2020.
